Oshkosh Corporation Named to 2016 World’s Most Ethical Company List

OshKosh Corporation is one of only 131 companies, and the only company in the “Trucks and Other Vehicles” category, named to this list from Ethisphere Institute.

Concrete Industry Management Auction Is A Success

McNeilus Mixer Winner: Roy Simmons of Rockingham Redi-Mix, Inc.

DODGE CENTER, Minn. (March 2, 2016)  Concrete Industry Management announced today that their World of Concrete auction was record-breaking. They raised over $925,000! That amount will go to support the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program – a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management.

“The NSC of the CIM program is pleased to report that the 2016 World of Concrete Auction surpassed our highest gross proceeds total ever,” commented Mike Philipps, CIM Auction Committee Chairman. “This Auction is a great example of the high value the concrete industry places on the CIM program. We had a record in terms of the value of donated items and attendees at the Auction that helped make this year’s event a tremendous success.”

McNeilus is glad we could support this cause with our joint donation of a McNeilus Bridgemaster Mixer with Mack. The 2016 McNeilus Bridgemaster donated included an 11-yd. M80 paver drum with 46-in. opening; 3/16-in. and 1/4 -in. abrasion resistant steel shell and fins; aluminum fenders; remote roller lube; upper ladder gate and wash hose; slump meter; night pour lights; and, 150-gal. aluminum cross mount water tank. We also equipped the mixer with our Command Center EP touch drum controls.

The winning bidder of the mixer truck was Roy Simmons with Rockingham Redi-Mix, Inc.

CIM Auction Committee Chairman, Mike Philipps (Cemex USA), said this of the McNeilus/Mack donation “The consistent support from these two leading manufacturers speaks volumes to their commitment to the concrete industry and importance they place on the CIM program.”
