Commitment to Industry, Top Technology on Display from McNeilus at Waste Expo 2018

McNeilus donates to industry scholarship program and charity auction, and highlights top truck technology enhancements with CODE controls and CNG systems.

DODGE CENTER, Minn. (April 24, 2018) – McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, is showcasing its best in refuse vehicle innovations, along with featuring factory-direct parts and service options, at Waste Expo 2018, April 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. As part of its customer-first focus and commitment to the industry, McNeilus has also made significant donations to the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) Women’s Council scholarship program and the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) charity auction, both of which will be highlighted throughout the convention.

As part of the EREF live auction on Wednesday, April 25, McNeilus has donated its Atlantic Series Front Loader®, featuring a 40-cubic-yard capacity, 10,000-pound-rated arms, Excalibre™ packing cylinders, service lift and camera system. McNeilus has also contributed a pair of tickets to NASCAR’s NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway to the silent auction. These auctions generate funds to assist the EREF’s scientific research and educational initiatives for sustainable waste management practices.

In support of the NWRA Women’s Council, McNeilus partnered to donate $100,000 to the organization’s scholarship program. This year the Women’s Council will award four people with $7,500 toward their education goals and pursuing a career in the solid waste and recycling industry.
