DODGE CENTER, Minn. (March 7, 2017) – McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, is featuring its advanced FLEX Controls System at CONEXPO 2017 in booth #S60309, March 7-11, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Our new FLEX Controls provide an unprecedented level of performance and accuracy,” said Brad Nelson, president, McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc., and senior vice president of Oshkosh Corporation’s Commercial Segment. “They allow better, more precise mixing and improve monitoring and operator assurance – all in a flexible, cost-effective package.”

McNeilus FLEX Controls are one of the most advanced control systems in the industry, with flexibility to meet any concrete producer’s needs.

FLEX Controls are the ‘brains of the operation.’ They are the new nerve center that meets the demands of today’s job requirements and seamlessly upgrades for the demands of tomorrow. Whether it’s simple reliability or complex precision, the flexible system enables users to add or take away functionality to meet individual needs.

The patent-pending system consolidates complete mixer monitoring onto one screen. With the new control system, users have better control and less variability in loading, mixing, and delivering. The new Smooth Drum Stop technology offers the smoother transitions from charge to discharge and stop/start.

The FLEX Controls system is designed for continuous innovation, building in future upgrade capability to meet evolving customer needs.

“The new McNeilus FLEX Controls is a system that I have worked closely on with our development team. The key to this system is the flexibility,” said Tom Harris, vice president of concrete mixers for McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. “You can configure a simple system for one producer and an advanced system for technology driven producers.”

A fully-functioning system will be shown on one of McNeilus’s industry-leading Bridgemaster® mixers, allowing CONEXPO attendees to test out the new system. There will also be a video in the McNeilus booth providing more information.

In addition to featuring FLEX Controls, the company will introduce a new lightweight drum and a new washout system and showcase seven McNeilus vehicles at CONEXPO. Seven additional McNeilus vehicles will be featured in partner booths throughout the tradeshow.
